Contact with others -> COVID-19?

Isn’t it likely that if you’re in the same room as someone, you could get coronavirus? COVID-19 is the newest disease. More deadly than the normal flu and easily transmittable, this RNA virus is transmittable through air, meaning that most of those paper-thin masks people wear won’t work.

If you are walking at school, and one person in the room has the virus, it is likely that everyone in that room will get it if the oxygen you breathe is exchanged within the people sitting in that classroom. Once students walk out, the virus will be transmitted to even more students at the school.

People should avoid being in the same room as someone unless they do not fear getting coronavirus. Being in the same room as someone is sharing the same air, and one of the common masks will not do much to block out the virus. Breathing one breath of the same air could give your system the virus. Do you want to die just for being in the same room as someone who is a carrier of the virus? Not likely.

If being in the same room as someone can increase your possibilities of having coronavirus, you would want to stay away from people as much as possible. This is isolation. Thousands of people are isolating/quarantining themselves. Sure, there isn’t much to do, but you can find things to do that will prevent you from going out. Staying in beats possibly catching a virus and infecting your family. Even if you do go out, don’t contact many people. Want to exercise? Go to the field by yourself and practice your shots. Want some food? Doordash, UberEats, or Postmates. There are alternatives to live your life while creating minimal outside contact.

If you simply don’t breathe the same air as someone, your chances of getting COVID-19 reduce significantly.
